Also integral with the head is an iris diaphragm located on eyepiece tube.

The eyepiece tube also includes orientation slots for the 45 and 90 corresponding pins of polarizing cross hair eyepiece, catalog number 1890. This is the monocular head for American Optical Series 110 and 120 POLSTAR microscope. The offer includes the strain-free 10X W.F. The head, catalog number 1889, includes the focus able Bertrand lens and a swing-in/swing-out fixed analyzer polarizing filter.

The polarizing filter of the analyzer is in excellent condition; clean and clear with no lamination. The Bertrand lens is clean and clear, focus able.
