Experience unparalleled optical precision with the Zeiss Microscope Plan-Apochromat 100x Oil Immersion Objective with Iris Diaphragm (44-07-86). This high-performance objective lens is meticulously designed for exceptional resolution and contrast, making it an indispensable tool for a wide range of microscopy applications.
The Plan-Apochromat objective lens is renowned for its ability to deliver stunningly sharp images, even at its maximum magnification of 100x. This is achieved through Zeiss's advanced lens design, which minimizes chromatic aberration and ensures optimal image quality. The oil-immersion technique further enhances the resolution by reducing the refractive index mismatch between the objective lens and the specimen, resulting in a higher numerical aperture and consequently, a superior resolution.
The objective lens is equipped with an iris diaphragm, providing flexibility in controlling the amount of light that enters the system. This feature allows for improved contrast and the ability to eliminate unwanted out-of-focus light, thereby enhancing the overall image quality.
Crafted with the utmost care and precision, the Zeiss Microscope Plan-Apochromat 100x Oil Immersion Objective with Iris Diaphragm (44-07-86) is an ideal choice for demanding microscopy tasks. Whether you're working in the fields of biology, materials science, or industrial inspection, this objective lens will help you uncover the intricate details that lie hidden within your samples, pushing the boundaries of your microscopy capabilities.
In summary, the Zeiss Microscope Plan-Apochromat 100x Oil Immersion Objective with Iris Diaphragm (44-07-86) is an outstanding objective lens, offering exceptional resolution, high contrast, and adaptable light control. It is a reliable companion for researchers and microscopists seeking to unlock the secrets of their samples at the highest magnification levels.
The Zeiss Microscope Plan-Apochromat 100x Oil Immersion Objective with Iris Diaphragm is a high-quality microscope objective, renowned for its excellent image quality and versatility. Here are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros:1. Superior Image Quality: The Plan-Apochromat design ensures exceptional correction of chromatic aberrations, resulting in high-resolution images.
2. High Magnification: With a magnification of 100x, this objective allows for detailed observation and analysis of small specimens.
3. Oil Immersion: Oil immersion increases the refractive index between the lens and the cover slip, enhancing resolution and contrast.
4. Iris Diaphragm: This feature allows for precise control of light and contrast, improving the quality of your images.
Cons:1. High Cost: Due to its high-quality components and brand reputation, this objective is quite expensive compared to other objectives.
2. Requires Care: Oil immersion objectives need to be handled with care to avoid damage to the delicate oil-filled gap.
3. Limited Field of View: Higher magnifications like 100x have a smaller field of view, which may require you to take multiple images to cover a larger area.
Conclusion:If you're a researcher, scientist, or professional microscopist who demands the highest image quality and requires a high level of resolution, the Zeiss Microscope Plan-Apochromat 100x Oil Immersion Objective with Iris Diaphragm could be an excellent investment. However, for hobbyists or those on a tight budget, the high cost and potential for breakage may outweigh the benefits.
Recommendation:Consider your specific needs, budget, and level of expertise before making a purchase. If you're unsure, it may be worth discussing your requirements with a microscopy specialist or consulting online forums to gather more opinions.
Zeiss plan-apochromat 100x oil immersion objective with iris diaphragm. It has an n. I am offering a 30 day return on this objective if it doesn't meet your expectations.
The diaphragm moves freely and correctly. It should be able to repaired without too much difficulty by a trained microscope repair person. It can also be used on the Olympus bx series of microscopes.
In my opinion, I think the objective has leaked just a bit of immersion oil. The optical condition is somewhat compromised because image just a shade less contrast as it should be, however, sharp and cells are easily identified.
