Details:

There are some specs on the various labeling that I will not bother to duplicate here since you should be able read them in pictures. The system is also fitted with an Ortec 117C gadget, maybe a preamps or something. Maybe that's how Ortec got their name on it. Good physical condition as I think you can see in the pictures EXCEPT that course of moving a little piece on tip tube got knocked off.

Based on the size, shape and other similarities I would assume this was being used with an electron microscope, reminds me of various EDAX x-ray spectrometers have seen over years. I purchased this in a lot with an American Nuclear Systems Quantum System 4000 being offered separately, so was guessing the two were used together but for all know they are totally unrelated. I still have the piece, it is included and looks like could easily be reattached but don't know if there a particular orientation to so will let you take care of that at your end. I ll let you figure that out.
