Details:

A lamp is not included. Since the photos were taken I've sourced a proper Olympus pull rod for field diaphragm and replaced screw that was visible in some photos, Works Brightfield, Darkfield, Polarization, Transmitted, Reflected light. The photos posted are of the unit you'll receive. Mechanically the slot seems to be available in this unit, but it was not installed as an option from factory.

Motorized focus is built into this illuminator. No filters are installed. Theres a two position filter holder, just after the lamp input port, for 32mm DOA, filters. The turret has the slot required for a DIC prism but is covered over by metal band.

OLYMPUS U-BXFMA-F Vertical Illuminator BF/DF with U-D5DBREMC 5-Position Turret for M25mm Lenses, DF and BF prisms are installed. Check them carefully to see exactly what you're getting. Possibly there to pressurize the illuminator keep dust out?, Mounting dimensions are shown in last photo. May also work with some mods for DIC / Nomarski, Theres an air-line on the turret.

I'll be listing a number of lenses, camera support options, and other Olympus microscope equipment over the next few months. I'm not sure what its for. They are not included in this offer.
